A revised Data Protection Act will come into force in Switzerland on September 1, 2023. This will bring Swiss data protection law (DPA) into line with the strict EU level. We have contacted an experienced data protection expert to help you draw up the new data protection provisions for your website. Our data protection expert will formulate new data protection provisions based on your existing website and the components used and we will ensure that these are updated on your website:

With the new Data Protection Act, you must offer visitors to your website the option of individually accepting or rejecting the data collected. Simply informing them that cookies are being collected is no longer sufficient. We therefore strongly recommend installing a new cookie plugin that allows your customers to individually control data collection. We use the following solution, which we also highly recommend:

As if the changes to data protection weren't enough, Google has decided to update and replace the existing Google Analytics version (Google Analytics Universal). From July 1, 2023, only the new version Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will be supported. Without active intervention, data will no longer be collected on your website after the changeover. We will be happy to take care of the changeover and help you get started with the new Google Analytics version.
